Enjoy authentic sights, sounds and flavors of the Caribbean, restaurant and cocktail tastings, celebrity cooking demos, live music and more at the 4th annual Taste the Islands Experience (TTIX2020). Food and spirits enthusiasts with a taste for island indulgences will gather May 9 and 10 (Mother’s Day weekend) at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The event is an interactive celebration offering an exciting program of uniquely Caribbean activities.
TTIX is an annual fixture in the South Florida event calendar that brings to life the exotic cuisine, vibrant spirit and mystique of Caribbean culture. For food and drink enthusiasts, TTIX promises to become one of the most-anticipated gourmand events of the year. In South Florida, it has evolved into an annual multi-day event, attracting visitors from around the region and the country.
Our collaborators and attendees have included celebrities, media personalities, and power brands such as Sandals, Grace Foods, Jamaica Tourist Board, Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc, the US Virgin Islands and Sunny.org. Our non-profit partnerships have included History Fort Lauderdale, international charity Food for the Poor and South Florida PBS (WPBT2), while our “Taste the Islands” brand is tied to broadcast platforms American Public Television, PBS and Create TV.
“Taste the Islands” is a Caribbean culinary and travel television series that has aired nationwide on PBS stations and Create TV to an audience footprint of 246 million.
TTIX events have been hosted thus far in South Florida, New York and Washington DC.
