What is the date of the 2019 Taste the Islands Experience?

The event will take place over 3 days. Friday, April 26 from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m., Saturday, April 27 from 4:00 – 10:00 p.m., and Sunday, April 28 from 10:00 a.m. into the afternoon.

Where is the event being held?

The event will on the beautiful strip of properties in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Friday night’s musical event with small bites will take place Under the Stars at Esplanade Park. Saturday’s parade of events and activities will be hosted on the breathtaking, riverside grounds of the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society at 219 SW 2nd Ave. Sunday’s Brunch on the Sunny Side will take place at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, followed by a riverboat cruise leaving from the nearby vicinity.

Will I have to pay for anything inside the event?

Drinks and bottle service are on sale at the Friday evening event. Food and drinks are included with your Saturday tickets, but you may purchase products from our fantastic Artisan Shopping Village. Sunday’s brunch includes breakfast and mimosas.

Will there be bottle service?

Yes. There will be a charge for ultra-premium bottle service.

Is there a dress code?

The dress code is Island Chic. As long as you feel fabulous, you’ll fit right in. No nudity!!

Who can attend?

Anyone may attend any of the events, but attendees under 21 should be supervised. While we do not have any offensive activities on our roster, because of the open bar, we do not encourage parents to bring children.

Anyone disrupting the event with violence, raucous behavior or foul language may be asked to leave.

What happens if there is bad weather?

The event goes on, rain or shine. We have large tents and lots of food so everyone can be comfortable.

Will you have vegetarian and gluten-free options?

Yes. Food for all diet restrictions and preferences will be available.

Is there any non-profit affiliation

The Fort Lauderdale Historical Society is a non-profit organization and will receive a percentage of profits made on this event as a donation.

The grounds of the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society are fully ADA compliant.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

You can buy tickets at the door, but you will pay premium pricing. Regular ticket pricing, available until 1 week before the event, is $95. Group rates are available (contact support [at] islandsyndicate.com).

What is your refund policy?

You may gift or exchange your ticket but refunds will not be offered.

Can I bring my child?

You may bring your children but we do not encourage it because of the alcohol service. Guests under the legal drinking age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult.

Is there special access for media?

Please complete our Media Application before Friday, May 18th. Approved outlets will receive confirmation via email by Friday, May 25th. Be advised that due to limited availability, all applicants may not be approved.

Where should I stay nearby?

We invite our guests from out of town to stay at the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas Boulevard, walking distance from the venue. Use partner code TTIX2018 for rooms starting at $125 / night. There are a number of restaurants, art galleries and shopping outlets in the nearby vicinity. Enjoy!

What airport is closest?

We’re in Sunny Fort Lauderdale! Please come to us through the Fort Lauderdale International Airport.
